Kelsey Mire, Woodworker
I've always been a do-it-yourselfer, something I inherited from both my parents and their parents. Growing up I saw Dad fixing things around the house and in the garage, Grandpa building beautiful inventive furniture, and Mom creating unique, artful designs out of almost any medium. I like to know how things work - how it's made and what the big picture is. After graduating from grad school a few years ago, I finally had time to let this inquisitive, hands-on part of myself grow and develop into something more concrete. I started building furniture, shelves, and anything else we needed around the house. The joy I experience from working on a project keeps me going and I love finding new ways to make things work!
All of these experiences have led me to start my own woodworking business. Nearly all of the orders I receive are custom so please don't hesitate to let me know what you'd like. All items can be purchased from my etsy shop.
